Kathy has served as Pastor, Bible School Dean of Academics, Instructor, and has helped pioneer churches, and establish foundations within the local church.  She is also affiliated with World Ministry Fellowship of Plano, Texas where she served several years on the Advisory Board.

Currently, following the leading of the Holy Spirit, Kathy travels extensively speaking at conferences and in churches.   She and her husband Dan (Administrative Director of RMI), reside in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Smiths are known for their moral character and integrity of heart.  Their ministry approach is one of humility, sincerity, and full devotion to Christ. Their commitment is to walk in integrity and love as they serve the Lord with a Ministry of Excellence. 

From the time that Kathy Smith was a young teenager, she had visions of standing in front of thousands and thousands of people of different nationalities.  She never understood the visions until 1993 when she was baptized in the Holy Spirit.  An Angel of the Lord appeared to Kathy and put his hand upon her shoulder and said, “you are one who’s called.”  Since that time she has pursued God and His call with great passion and zeal.  

Kathy, is the Founder and President of Restoration Ministries International (RMI), and is a recognized International Conference speaker and teacher.  Kathy flows with a  strong Prophetic gifting and with Apostolic authority.  She ministers a fresh Word with a no-nonsense style and brings an impartation of the power of God through signs, wonders, and miracles.   She is used mightily by God to ignite the fire within the hearts of God’s people, creating in them a desire for a deeper walk with Him.   Many people experience emotional healing as Kathy shares her testimony how God healed her from past physical and sexual abuses.
